CONSULTING assesses the management of the customer organizations
in a pure consultancy perspective by:
. Constantly searching for new and creative financial alternatives,
legal alterations which may lead to the turning-up of attractive
opportunities
. Defining reasonable investment criteria, management of the effects
by type of investment (legal implications, cost reductions and
better productivity, maintenance vs desinvestment and/or expansion,
new products and new markets)
. Finding opportunities for mergers and acquisitions and evaluate
them
. Advising alternatives in the partnership structure
. Assess the dividend policies and earnings retention
. Advising cash management, stock management, fiscal management
- related to decisions of investment, acquisitions, disinvestments
- management of the relationship with the financial community
. Developing the organizational culture
. Supporting the definition of accountancy procedures, centers
of responsibility, measures of financial performance, treasure
scope and information system
. Developing the optimal financing mix to finance investment projects
(including Greenfield plants) - bank negotiations, floating, risk
capital and in the case of investments in Portugal through the
QCA III (until 2006)
. Developing and managing the financial and management control
of the customer organizations through the implementation of organizational
systems capable of managing the relationship of the company with
the Portuguese fiscal administration and the internal reporting
needs of the organization - including management control, general
accounting and analytical accounting.

private equity - or simply through consulting services
. Expansion of Organizations by entering in the social capital

assets with high potential of growth Vs profitability.
